Bill Brzeski
BILL BRZESKI (PRODUCTION DESIGNER BIO) Production designer Bill Brzeski has been designing for more than 40 years, becoming one of the most accomplished production designers for feature films and television today. He is known for his ability to create immersive and visually stunning worlds, from the underwater kingdom of Atlantis in Aquaman to the seedy Las Vegas and Bangkok of The Hangover trilogy. He is highly respected in the industry for his creativity, attention to detail, and collaborative spirit. As a production designer, Brzeski’s feature-film credits include the 2019 holiday hit Jumanji The Next Level directed by Jake Kasdan as well as the international box-office hit Aquaman and recently Aquaman 2 The Lost Kingdom in 2023 directed by James Wan for Warner Bros. In 2024 Brzeski just finished rebooting the “Naked Gun” franchise for Paramount with Liam Neeson in the starring role.
This 2024 holiday season Brzeski teamed up with Jake Kasdan again on the much anticipated action comedy The Red One staring Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans. Other stand out box-office hits include The Fate of The Furious and Fast and Furious 7 for Universal Studios, and Iron Man 3, for Marvel Studios/Disney. Brzeski collaborated with director Todd Phillips on the mega hit comedy The Hangover, The Hangover Part 2, Due Date, and War Dogs. For The Hangover Brzeski received the illustrious Best Production Design nomination from the Art Directors Guild. Other feature credits include James L. Brooks’ Oscar®-winning As Good as It Gets, Rob Reiner’s The Bucket List, Stuart Little & Stuart Little 2, Flipped, Blue Streak, Matilda, and The Forbidden Kingdom. Brzeski continues to work on diverse projects across multiple mediums and has been recently chosen to be a judge at the 136th Rose Parade this 2025 New Years. His passion for design is evident in every project he takes on. His innovative and imaginative approach to production design has made him one of the most sought-after designers in the industry, and his impressive body of work serves as a testament to his talent and vision. Brzeski received his undergraduate degree from Miami University, and his MFA in design from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Originally interested in designing for ballet and the opera, Brzeski began his career in theater in NY before moving to Los Angeles. In L.A., Brzeski began his foray into television, and has since served as production designer on more than 800 episodes and 36 pilots
